What an incredible journey of discovery, connection and collaboration!

During the 2026 Mega Fam Trip and Travel Trade Workshop, we were delighted to welcome the Thompsons Holidays South Africa team and travel trade partners to Mauritius. The experience provided a wonderful opportunity to explore our enchanting island, discover its rich and unique culture, strengthen partnerships, and exchange ideas during meaningful workshops and networking sessions.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of a 20th Anniversary Commemorative Trophy to Coquille Bonheur by Thompsons Holidays South Africa, celebrating two decades of a strong and valued partnership built on trust, collaboration and a shared passion for showcasing Mauritius as an exceptional travel destination.

Presented during the Travel Trade Workshop at The Suffren Hotel on 3 September 2026, the trophy was received by our Managing Director, Dr Christian Lefèvre, from Angela Wood, General Manager, and Nicole Yamawaki, Product and Contracting Manager of Thompsons Holidays.

We were also honoured by the presence of His Excellency Heinrich Giovanni April, South African High Commissioner to Mauritius, highlighting the longstanding connections between Mauritius and South Africa.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we look forward to continuing to nurture these relationships and working together to create even more memorable, authentic and meaningful travel experiences.
