COQUILLE BONHEUR RESPONDS TO THE CALL FOR SOLIDARITY OF
THE CENTRE D'ACCUEIL DE TERRE ROUGE (CADT)
Since the creation of Coquille Bonheur, the DMC has made the sustainable development of tourism its major concerns, taking the various economic, social and environmental spheres to heart.
Drug addiction in general has a negative impact on progress towards achieving sustainable development. Coquille Bonheur responds to the call for solidarity from the Terre Rouge Reception Center by supporting the aid project for all people, without distinction of religion, race or political belief, in a situation of exclusion wishing to undertake a process of reintegration.
Terre Rouge Reception Center (CATR)
The CATR, whose administrator is Jose Ah-Choon, is a center that works to support people dependent on drugs and alcohol.
We give them the tools they need to get back on their feet and adhere to the basic principles of rehabilitation and we work to remove any barriers that may hinder the acceptance of these principles.
This is done in a warm, peer-centered environment and under the guidance of compassionate staff.
The team and participants work together to develop individualized treatment plans that treat the whole person – body and mind.
Building a support network is essential for the rehabilitation of people addicted to drugs, including alcohol, to help them maintain their sobriety and rebuild their lives.
