Full Day Rum & Wine Tasting

This enriching tour will make you discover a selection of authentic rum, wine and beer. Start the tour by discovering a local lychee wine production unique to Mauritius. In a serene setting, you will be greeted by the owner himself who will share with you his savoir-faire. Then head to a colonial house and enjoy a guided visit of its artisanal rum distillery made from delicious sugar cane. A rum tasting session will give you the chance to try different, skilfully made rums, such as the white agricultural rum. Lastly drive to Bois Cheri tea plantations to discover the history, stories and tales of the Bois Chéri and the importance of tea productions in Mauritius. End the day with a tea tasting of the various delicious flavours produced there at the chalet enjoying a panoramic view of the plantations and the lake.
