Pope Francis will travel to the Indian Ocean islands of Madagascar and Mauritius and to the Southeast African nation of Mozambique in September 2019.

After the blessed visit of Pope John II to Mauritius in 1989.Pope Francis will now visit Mauritius on 9th September 2019, this year, and will celebrate a mass at Marie Reine de la Paix. On the same day he will also be present in the morning at the Pere Laval's Shrine in Sainte Croix for a private gathering with other Mauritian priests.

The Prime Minister recalled that he sent an invitation to the Vatican in November 2018, inviting the Pope to visit Mauritius. It is an honour and a great priviledge for us all, that Pope Francis has agreed to visit our multicultural country, he stated. The visit of the Pope will be a State visit, prepared with the collaboration of the Diocese of Port Louis, pointed out Mr Jugnauth.

On this special occasion we have specially prepared a papal programme from the 6th to 9th September. Kindly contact us for more information.

Don't miss out this opportunity to attend this unique mass of Pope Francis in Mauritius.
