Coquille Bonheur has been proud to partner with Thompsons Holidays for hosting Brent Owens, the well-known Australian reality TV chef and winner of MasterChef Australia Season 6 as he explored the magical island of Mauritius while creating a two-part cooking series, Brent Owens Unwraps Mauritius.

Brent’s travel cooking experiences have taken him around the world and have proved to be extremely popular, giving TV viewers the chance to experience a tiny slice of heaven! He is known for putting his own spin on recipes that he’s picked up on his travels. As he’s an adrenalin junkie, he also makes sure to have as many extreme adventures as possible while he travels the world. In addition, he’s written a book, Dig In, “for people who come home tired at the end of the day to knock out a stellar dish with minimal effort”.

Thompsons Holidays, along with their preferred hoteliers, Air Mauritius and the efficient Thompsons Mauritius team, hosted Brent during his stay on the island. Thompsons and its valued partners handled everything from Brent’s accommodation to his adventurous activities. They also assisted the crew during filming. They sent along a representative, Deline Van Der Merwe, who accompanied Brent in this two-part series to ensure he had great fun on his numerous adventures around the island.

In the new TV series, ‘Brent Owens Unwraps Mauritius’, Brent travels around Mauritius sampling different foods and recreating dishes with his special touch. The series offers a stunning insight into this paradise island, with its rich cuisine, beautiful white sand beaches and diverse culture.
